After an early career and study in journalism and women’s charities, Lin spent 20 years in corporate IT, living for her weekend role as a volunteer youth football coach and community organiser. Since finding her dream job with Upshot nearly 7 years ago, Lin found her niche later in life; helping sports and community charities around the world evidence the impact of their amazing work. As a member of Women in Football, Women’s Sport Collective and director on the Board of Girls United – Lin is passionate about developing the opportunities to play, which were, and are still, denied to many girls and women in all sports. Currently playing walking football for Maidenhead United, Lin also runs a women & girls softball cricket team in her local area.
